it is beautiful, and from what I have read, can be kept to class 3, but it is easy to venture unknowingly into very dangerous terrain from what I have read about it.
Static is by far the easiest (just a class 1, maybe slight 2 walk up) but gorgeous scenery the whole way (and is also very long in terms of mileage). Buck Mountain is a lot less traveled (probably not much of an established trail) where route finding could be a tougher (and beta harder to come by), but it seems crazy cool. so, that will differ greatly from my trip reports. did check a recent report from the ranger website that showed a ton of snow up on Middle. I have some trip reports for them on my blog.
If you are up for a little longer hike you can do the loop to lake solitude and back down Cascade Canyon (I think it’s about 22 miles this way) instead of making this an out. You will find it on AllTrails.It’s called Paintbrush Divide via Leigh Lake Trailhead. The Paintbrush Divide-Cascade Canyon Loop visits spectacular alpine terrain in the heart of Wyoming's Grand Teton National Park, with jaw-dropping views of soaring mountains and explosive displays of wildflowers in midsummer that make this one of the better hikes on the continent. Lots of verticals and horizontals, easy to divide your paper for a color mixing. I love his bold colors and unique compositions with simple shapes. Attempted Middle and successfully did Static myself. The hike is 8.2 miles to the Paintbrush Divide from the Leigh Lake Trailhead. These 3rd Grade Ton Schulten Tree-scapes are another favorite of mine. Agree on the above recommendations for Static Peak, Buck Mountain and Middle and South Tetons.
